is the student ministry program at Trinity United Methodist Church in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The scripture that our program is
based on is Philippians 1:9-10
Oakwood Summer Camp!
This year’s camp will take place Monday July 5th through Friday, July
9th. The Oakwood Experience is held each year at Blue Lake Methodist
Camp near Andalusia, Alabama. Not only is this camp popular because of the
beautiful surroundings of Blue Lake, but also because of the great theme,
informative classes, awesome worship, fun games, free gym and swim time, and
many other surprises provided each year. Further information about the camp
and what to bring will be provided with your registration. Please note
that due to limited space only the first 30 youth to sign up will be able to
attend. The total cost is $180.00, but we only require a $25 deposit
to save your space. The Deadline to sign up is Sunday May 23rd so get
on it ASAP! Full payment is due by Sunday, June 27th.
Summer Mission Trip w/ A.R.M.
For the 4th consecutive summer we will be working with Alabama Rural
Ministries for our summer mission trip. This year we will go to
Livingston, Al. to do home repair and help run a children’s daycamp.
This year’s trip will be from Sunday, July 18th until Saturday, July 24th.
Cost of the trip will be $180.00. Deadline to get registered for the
trip is Sunday, June 6th and we just need a $25 deposit. Full payment
for the trip is due Sunday, July 11th.
Upcoming Event Announcements!
5/30/10 – INSIGHT OUT!
On Sunday, May 30th we will be heading over to First Baptist Church of
FWB for a movie night! We will be watching the movie, “To Save a Life”
on the big screen in their gym. The event will run from 7:30 – 10:30pm
and they will offer free popcorn and soda + you will be able to buy pizza.
Remember that drop-off and pickup will all take place at 1st Baptist so
don’t accidentally come to Trinity!
First Baptist is located at 21 First Street, SEC orner of 1st Street
and Harbeson in Fort Walton.
6/6/2010 – Senior Recognition Sunday. Senior Breakfast 7:30,
service 8:30
On Sunday, June 6th we are having our annual Senior recognition Sunday
for all graduating high school seniors at Trinity. The breakfast will
begin at 7:30 am in the fellowship hall and we will celebrate the seniors
and their accomplishments during the 8:30 service.
9 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you
may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ.
